Quarter Midgets make highly anticipated return to Cerro Gordo Speedway this Friday night

(Cerro Gordo, Illinois) Two nights of racing 6/14 and 6/15. Next Fridays and Saturday scheduled Quarter Midget shows at Cerro Gordo Speedway will be ran as a race format with heats and features both nights. All winners will receive a trophy, Feature winner sticker, and photo in victory lane. The only difference will be no points will be awarded towards the Quarter Midget Hoosier/Tire Afco Shocks Summer Shootout Series, however all entries will receive 2013 Cerro Gordo Speedway track points.

Winners will also go into a drawing for gift cards, gift certificates, and more. Should be a great deal as the first night was a great success. Please help us spread the word and share, share, share.

Cerro Gordo Speedway as part of there commitment to bring back the Quarter Midgets will not require any entry fees for any of the events that the Speedway will host. The only requirement will be anyone who enters the pits must have a pit pass. The grandstands are free so this can allow teams to bring families and friends to come enjoy a great night of racing.

All classes of Quarter Midgets will be on the schedule.

The Hoosier Tire/ Afco Shocks Summer Shootout Series will be a unsanctioned series. All three races will be held at the Cerro Gordo Speedway. The series will follow all rules and requirements followed by QMA.

A Hoosier tire rule will be in place for this great series.

Cerro Gordo Speedway is located on the Piatt County Fairgrounds in Cerro Gordo, Illinois. Gates open at 4pm, hotlaps at 6:30 and racing around 7.
