A Wonderful Story about a Former Quarter Midget Family
Quarter Midget Families stick together for all sorts of reasons. Shaun Pearman from Colorado, raced Quarter Midgets as a youngster.
His family was totally involved. Shaun went on to college and then law school, married and had a family. Actually a very large family
with 5 kids! So a second generation of Quarter Midget Racers began. Brandon and Adam Pearman grew up enjoying racing with their dad, Shaun.
When the sport just became too much for this
family, they looked for other ways to fill the family time.
Brandon went to California to do a year of college and then came back to Colorado for a year at CU in Boulder. As the other children are growing
up, the family decided to take a trip to Zambia last summer. There, they found so many ways they could help.
This summer - they again, are going as a family. They travel as missionairies and can take extra luggage.
The group they are part of is called Legacy Missions.
They need your help! You can't believe the numbers of people that come to the villages to meet these missionairies. On Thursday's, they try to provide a pair
of shoes for as many people as they can. YOU can help by purchasing just any kind of tennis shoes.... and sending them to Legacy Missions in the name
of a former Quarter Midget Family..... 2 generations of Quarter Midget Racers.
Please mail your shoe purchases to:
Family Legacy Missions Int'l
5005 W. Royal Lane, Suite 252
Irving, TX 75063
Please put the note - in support of the Pearman Family on your box.
If just 2 families from each club in the QuarterMidget Network sent 1 pair of shoes - that would be over 100 pairs!
Please Help!!!!!
I personally found 4 pairs for the small investment of just $20 by checking out Ross Department Stores.
