Richard,

I can't answer something I don't know about. You did not answer my question.
Did someone issue instructions to mail them then retract it?

The last I knew was based on our con call of 10/4 where it was decided to
publish only Rd resumes' in the QR but run election for the entire regional
positions.

Those are the last instructions I am aware of.

Now cut the BS and state where you are aware of something else!

I will tell you to your face you are a lying piece of dirt. I never in our
conversation ever mentioned that resume's were going to be "Mailed" with the
ballot.

I would suggest anyone dealing with this piece of garbage record the
conversation, this is one where I know he is lying.

In multiple conversations someone Mel or Ams may have said it but I
certainly did not.

Do you have first hand knowledge of such an action or are you just trying

stir the pot and make false accusations?

Kelly:
I ran a well thought out campaign in this race. I had assurances from both
Salisbury and AMS that each candidate's resume [of which mine is a good one]
would be included in the ballot mailing. I explained that this would be an
important part of my bid for election. I even offered to pay for any
additional copying charges and was assured that it would not be necessary. I
went to the added trouble to send all of the Region 3 constituency a
campaign
letter that referred them to information about my qualifications that would
be included with the ballot mailing. On Oct 13th, there was absolutely no
question in anybody's mind that the voters would get the resumes _with_ the
ballots.

Sometime after Oct. 17th, AMS received my single opponent's resume. His
"resume" contained absolutely no information at all with regard to
qualifications. The substantive portion of his resume contained one
sentence
.... "I have been Regional Director for over 4 years."... This one
handwritten sentence on piece of notebook paper was my opponent's entire
"resume." The other half of his "resume" contained the _other_ sentence ...
"Please accept this as my resume for the office of Regional Director."

When I called Melody Crook to find out why the candidate resumes had not
been
included in with the ballot mailing, she said verbatim "I thought they
would
be."
Dave Williams, Sr. told me that AMS sent out the ballots as instructed ...
without the resumes. When I asked "... who's instructions were you
following?" , Dave said "ask Melody."

So you see Kelly, if I am making false accusations, it's because somebody
else was first lying about the election process. I am not naming names
because as yet I have no proof of who tampered with this election, but it
was
definitely tampered with to the detriment of my campaign and the entire
membership of Region 3. Every member of QMA has a right to know who they
are
or are not voting for _BEFORE_ they are directed to cast their ballot. This
election has been orchestrated in a manner that surreptitiously denies each
member the right to make an informed choice based in part on the information
provided to them by the candidate's resumes.

Regardless of what excuse the BOD member responsible for this "oversight"
comes up with, this still should have never happened. I am not "stirring" a
pot that doesn't need stirring.

Fox, NBC, Turner Acquire Rights to NASCAR

Reuters
Thursday, November 11 1999 01:04 PM EST

NEW YORK (Reuters) - NASCAR has cashed in on its soaring popularity by
agreeing to lucrative broadcast deals with NBC, Fox and Turner Sports.

NASCAR has called a news conference for Thursday afternoon to announce
details of its new broadcast deal and various published reports say that
NASCAR has agreed to six-year deals worth a combined $400 million per year,
about four times what the stock car organization receives under its current
agreement.

The deal marks the first time that NASCAR, which has seen its television
ratings increase in recent years while other sports have declined, has sold
television rights as a unit. Previous deals were signed by the racetracks.

USA Today and the New York Times reported that beginning in 2001, Fox will
air the first 18 weeks of the NASCAR season on its main broadcast outlet and
on cable partners Fox Sports Net and Fx.

NBC reportedly will team with Turner Sports to televise the second half of
the season, from July to November.

The Daytona 500, NASCAR's premier event, will rotate between Fox and NBC.

The deal is a significant loss to ABC and ESPN, which will combine to cover
18 of the 34 Winston Cup races this season. ESPN has carried 300 hours of
NASCAR-related programming annually.

``We made an aggressive and appropriate bid given the package,'' ESPN said
in a prepared statement. ``While we're disappointed and would have liked to
have continued our NASCAR relationship, we have an incredibly strong
programming lineup, featuring event or extensive programming coverage of
every top sport.''

Also left out of the picture after the 2000 season are CBS and TNN. CBS
provided the first live coverage of a NASCAR race when it aired the Daytona
500 in 1979.

The deal solidifies an interest in auto racing at NBC, which will televise
the Pennzoil 500 Sunday as part of a deal signed previously. It also gives
the network credible sports programming to compensate for the loss last year
of rights to the NFL.

It is the second major broadcast deal in as many months for NBC, which
acquired five-year rights to the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and
Belmont Stakes beginning in
