USAC MOPAR .25 Midget Drivers Have Exciting Weekend with IZOD INDYCar in Las Vegas

Practice began on Friday afternoon at noon, but the USAC Mopar .25 Midget drivers had many duties for the weekend. Between getting ready for practice and taking practice laps, drivers did Q & A sessions all day long in the IZOD INDYCar Fan Zone, set up at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Heat races and Mains began Saturday morning at 9 am. By 4, drivers were lining up in Victory Lane to celebrate their wins. The top 3 in each class were awarded Western World 100 Trophies. Sunday morning, families met at their track and 33 Drivers were in 33 - S3000 Honda Convertibles in Pre-Race Activities for the IZOD INDYCar World Championships in Las Vegas. Each driver was joined by an INDYCar driver who chatted with our young drivers as they made a parade lap around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Special Thanks to IZOD INDYCar for giving these young drivers 'the chance of a lifetime'. Many parents said their kids were so excited!

Honda Convertibles are lined up on the front stretch of Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a passenger belted in the front seat. Those passengers were excited USAC Mopar .25 Midget Drivers.
