Safety: Our Number One Priority

QMA Upholds High Safety Standards
Have no fear our sport is very safe. Our children are safer in their race cars than they are in football, soccer, field hockey, bicycling, skate boarding, or roller blading. Our safety record is squeaky clean.

All cars and drivers must conform to all National safety rules. Car roll cages, racing clothing, helmets, gloves, neck braces, safety belts, arm restraints, mechanical components, fuel tank location, etc. are required. For safety reasons first aid kits, track fire extinguishers, corner men, and flagmen are mandatory.

On each car an ignition cut-off switch is located outside the cowl area so that the engine can be shut off by someone other than the driver in case of an emergency.

Saftey Check Process
This is an excellent document created by AQMA for the 1997 Western Grands.
